There is an old saying that goes like this “much prayer, much power, some prayer some power, little prayer little power, no prayer, no power.”
ECBF will be known for many things. One of them, we hope, will be for our deep commitment to prayer. It is our hope that those who become an integral part of our congregation will have a vibrant and alive prayer life. We believe strongly that unless the Lord builds the house we who labor do so in vain and except the Lord keeps the city the watchmen stay awake in vain. Psalms 127
That verse should remind us of our human limitations and our need for God’s intervention. We believe that the Lord calls each of us to a deep place of communion that can only be found in prayer.
Therefore, we will encourage and challenge those who attend Emerald City Bible Fellowship to enter into that place of intimate communion with our Lord through regular prayer both individually and corporately.
